No matter who you know, call 000.

We know in a small community it’s easy to think, ‘I’ll just call someone from the brigade,’ or ‘I know who’s on shift.’

But when you see smoke or fire, the only number to call is 000.

000 is the fastest way to get help moving. It connects straight to the emergency operators who can send the closest crews (including Queensland Police Service and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS)) , sometimes from more than one station. Every call is tracked, logged and dispatched immediately.

If you ring a local firefighter instead, they still have to call 000, which means precious minutes lost.

So even if you know us personally, or can see our station from your front gate, always call 000 first.

Let the system do its job, so we can do ours.

See smoke? Hear crackling? Spot fire?

Call 000, every time, no matter who you know.
